The Rahr-West Art Museum is pleased to be able to provide art instruction for the home school community. The Home School Young Artists group may be divided into age groups, based on the number of participants, in order to ensure the best possible art instruction. The children will experience all areas of art, from painting to ceramics, using the Rahr-West Art Museum's permanent collection as examples of the various media.

April 2018 Mimicking the Masters with Heather Nelson Using pieces from the RWAM collection, in addition to other will known artists, students will mimic the style and techniques of the masters.
April 3: David Hockney, Celia with Green Hat Oil pastel portrait project
April 10: Susan Hunt-Wulkowicz, An Early Autumn Study in depth using colored pencils
April 17: Ed Paschke, Libertad Markers or colored pencils
April 24: Andrew Balkin, Alistra Markers & colored pencils
May 2018 Through the Eyes of Georgia O'Keeffee with Michelle Heraly-Bonde Students will create large artwork in the artist's style, using space effectively in the enlargement of natural forms.
