The Riflery program offers opportunities for youth who are interested in the shooting sports and our firearms heritage. Through the program, participants have the opportunity to learn gun safety, participate in target shooting, learn a new discipline or hone their skills.
The Riflery programs offer an opportunity to learn about and respect firearms, as well as the specifics of safe gun handling practices through experience, while under supervision. Trusted with the important responsibilities of shooting, participants gain tremendous self-respect as well as a strong desire to succeed in this sport. The lessons of history and heritage that often accompany safe, supervised shooting and firearms events help bring new, positive perspective to the eyes of all participants.
