Infant Swim

Parent and Child Aquatics

The Infant Swim Program orients both parents and children to the aquatic environment through safe play. This program builds basic water safety skills for both parents and children, helping them become more comfortable in the water so they are willing and ready to learn to swim. These basic skills include adjusting to the water environment and demonstrating breath control, including blowing bubbles or voluntarily submerging under water. Parents and children are both in the water.

Age Requirements:  6 months to 3 years of age

The program is held at Riverview School.
