The Board of Public Works is made up of eight members:

  • Alderperson Jim Brey, Member of Public Infrastructure Committee - term expires April 17, 2017

  • Alderperson Steve Czekala, Member of Finance Committee - term expires April 17, 2017
  • City Clerk/Deputy Treasurer, Jennifer Hudon, Secretary
  • Alternate: Assigned Designee of Public Infrastructure in the absence of the Director of Public Infrastructure
  • Alternate: Comptroller in the absence of the Finance Director/Treasurer
  • Alternate: Deputy City Clerk in the absence of the City Clerk/Deputy Treasurer

The Board of Public Works of the City of Manitowoc shall consist of the Mayor, City Attorney, Director of Public Infrastructure, three members of the Common Council, the Finance Director/Treasurer and the City Clerk/Deputy Treasurer.

The City Clerk/Deputy Treasurer shall serve as secretary for the Board and in the absence of the City Clerk/Deputy Treasurer, the Deputy City Clerk may act as secretary. In the absence of the Director of Public Infrastructure, their designee may act as a member. In the absence of the Director of Public Infrastructure, their designee may act as a member. In the absence of the Finance Director/Treasurer, the Comptroller may act as a member. In the absence of the City Clerk/DeputyTreasurer, the Deputy City Clerk may act as a member.
