  2. Book and a Movie/“My Cousin Rachel”

    February 18, 2019, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Lakeshore Cinema

Love, revenge, lust, mystery, and longing intermingle against the backdrop of a large Cornwall estate in both Daphne de Maurier’s novel and the 2017 film adaptation of the novel starring Rachel Weisz. However, one huge question remains—which version does a better job of putting all of this intrigue before the public: the book or the movie? You’ll have the opportunity to discuss this oft-debated point if you attend Manitowoc Public Library’s “Book and a Movie” at Lakeshore Cinema—1118 Washington Street—on Monday, February 18th at 7 PM. Watch the movie and then participate in the discussion of the book versus the movie that follows. Books can be checked out prior to the screening at Manitowoc Public Library. Admission is FREE!!!
