Where and how do I pay for a fine?
If you would like to pay for a fine prior to the initial court appearance, you may do so at the:
Manitowoc Police Department
910 Jay St.
Manitowoc, WI 542220

Make checks payable to “Manitowoc City Treasurer”. No out-of-state checks are accepted. Please do not send cash through the mail. If you have your citation number, and it is after the initial court date, you may still pay your fine at the Manitowoc Police Department. However, you also have the option to pay your fines during normal business hours (7:30 am to 4:30 pm) at the:
Treasurer’s Office
City Hall
900 Quay St.
Manitowoc, WI 54220

The Manitowoc Police Department also currently accepts credit card payments for traffic and ordinance citations through Official Payments. This service provides payment directly to Municipal Court and assesses you a fee for their service for using your personal credit card. The fee will be in addition to the amount owed for your citation. If you’d like more information regarding online or phone payments via credit cards, please visit Official Payments or call (800) 2PAY-TAX or (800) 272-9829.

You must enter jurisdiction code 6714 when prompted in order to have the payment accepted. Your payment will be applied to the citation upon receiving confirmation from Official Payments that the transfer has been completed. This may take up to 72 hours for processing. If you have any questions, please contact the Manitowoc Police Department at (920) 686-6589.
