CLERK
The City Clerks Office is responsible for: conducting elections, maintaining permanent Common Council documents, notifying the public of public meetings, billing of special assessments, mail posting and distribution, issuance of licenses for taverns, bartenders, and related licenses, direct sellers, taxi drivers, and other licenses.
The City Clerks office acts as a liaison between the public, city departments, and the Common Council.

MUNICIPAL COURT
Municipal Courts were created by the governing body of the municipality and have exclusive jurisdiction over actions involving violation of the municipal ordinances, adopted from the Wisconsin State Statutes. The Court Office provides information as well as maintains records of dispositions and payment of forfeitures. With the exception of juveniles, the records are open to the public.

PARKS AND RECREATION
The Manitowoc Parks & Recreation Department is committed to improving the quality of life for all Manitowoc's residents and visitors. This is accomplished by providing and promoting well maintained parks/facilities and public open spaces as well as offering a variety of lifelong recreational opportunities and special events for people of all ages. The Department consists of three divisions. The Parks Division maintains over 680 acres of parklands, boulevards and waysides; operates the Lincoln Park Zoo; and serves as Manitowoc's Forestry Division. The Recreation Division organizes, plans, and develops a diversified program of recreation activities for all ages, and operates and maintains the Municipal Pool and Red Arrow Beach. The Senior Center Division plans, organizes, and supervises all activities for the Senior Center. (See also Senior Center)

Manitowoc Public Utilities' mission is to provide safe, reliable and environmentally sound best value service to maintain the benefits of Community Ownership. MPU is uniquely positioned to achieve this mission because the utility is municipally owned, though managed separately from city government. Unlike strictly private enterprise, MPU is able to focus on the community's needs-the needs of its more than 16,000 customers-without the influence of outside investors. As a result, the families and businesses of Manitowoc benefit directly from some of the lowest utility rates in the nation. Additionally, with assets of more than $ 100 million, MPU is Manitowoc's largest taxpayer, adding $2 million annually to city coffers.

RAHR-WEST MUSEUM

WASTEWATER TREATMENT
It is the purpose of the Wastewater Treatment Facility to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public, to prevent misuse, abuse, or breakdown of the Wastewater Facilities, to operate the facility to maximize removal efficiencies protecting receiving waters from pollution, and to regulate the construction and use of all sewers and drains connected to the City of Manitowoc sewer system.
