The Manitowoc retail task force meets on the first Thursday of each month at 1:30 p.m. at the Manitowoc Police Department, 910 Jay Street, in the lower level meeting room.
The purpose of the retail group is to exchange information about retail crime trends, non-sufficient funds and account closed checking accounts, as well as retail theft - shoplifter information.

Financial Crime Prevention Task Force
The financial task force program includes all the financial institutions in Manitowoc County. The task force members meet three times per year at the Manitowoc Police Department. It is the intention of the task force to discuss crime around the banking and financial industry, which includes bank robbery, fraud and bad checks.
The Financial Crime Prevention Task Force: Crime Alert Program is a notification program between all financial institutions which shares e-mail and faxed information about banking scams, fraud alerts, and counterfeit currency.
