Snow and Ice must be removed from sidewalks by property owners, lessees, and occupants. Failure to do so will result in a notice sent by the Department of Public Works. Failure to remove snow and ice from walkways within three (3) days of this notice will result in the Department removing the snow and ice, and assessing the property owner the costs of this action. Subsequent violations will be cleared without further notice
Sand or salt may be used for ice control on sidewalks.
