Level 4

Program Information

The goal of Level 4 Swim Lessons is to develop confidence in the skills learned and improve other aquatic skills. Skills participants will work on, and learn by the end of the program, include:
  • Completing a feet-first surface dive
  • Learning about survival swimming
  • Learning about how to do flutter and dolphin kicks while on their backs
  • Learning the front and back crawl, elementary backstroke, breaststroke, sidestroke, and butterfly stroke
  • Making front crawl and backstroke open turns
  • Making head-first entries from the side of the pool in compact and stride positions
  • Swimming under water
  • Treading water using two different kicks
Requirements:  Complete Level 3

This program is held at the Wilson Jr. High School.

FEE: $29.00 resident $36.00 non resident
