SAVE THE DATE: SATURDAY,  SEPTEMBER 7th is SPUTNIKFEST 2013
                                                                                                                                       
On September 6, 1962  a 20 lbs. piece of Russian Sputnik IV  landed in the middle of the street on the corner of N. 8th and Park. Sputnikfest is our way of bringing the community together to celebrate this momentous event.

Named one of the Top Five Funkiest Festivals in the country by  Readers Digest, this Wacky Tacky Festival is fast becoming a community favorite, with fun for the entire family.
                                                                                                               
There's food, music, raffles and contests for every age group and life form. Purchase a Sputnikfest t-shirt or poster at our merchandise tent, 2012 Poster have your picture taken with a Star Wars Character, dress up in aluminum foil, decorate a cake or just join in the fun! You won't want to miss this.
