Register for programs online using our new eConnect system. First set up your family account and then browse and register for courses. A credit card is necessary to complete online registration. No registration will be taken online without payment.
By Mail
Registration forms will be accepted by mail immediately upon the public receiving the season's Activity Brochure in the Laker Shopper Buyer's Guide. Complete the registration form and send it along with your payment to:

Registrations will be processed in the order they are received.
Drop Off
Participants may drop off registration forms immediately upon the public receiving the season's Activity Brochure in the Laker Shopper Buyer's Guide. Drop offs can be made at the above address Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. -- 4:30 p.m.. All registrations will be processed in the order they are received.
Call In
Registration may be done by telephone with a debit or credit card. You will be asked for name, address, phone number and age. Please have all classes and personal information ready when you call.
Registration Policies

All participants must meet minimum age, grade or skill requirements to register for the activity.

Fee must be paid in full and accompany the registration form.

All registration Forms must be filled out completely. Including Session if applicable.

Please do not ask to exceed class limits or put your child in the wrong age or skill level class. Programs are designed according to an instructor/student ratio, and at an age level that will benefit the student.

Make checks payable to Manitowoc Parks & Recreation Department or MPRD.

Registration forms may be duplicated if necessary.

Telephone registrations will be accepted with credit/debit card only. Appropriate waivers must be signed prior to participation.

The Department reserves the right to cancel or make late program changes.

Registration forms must be signed by a parent or guardian prior to program participation for all youth under the age of 18, and by adult participants.

No refunds will be given. The registration fee will be applied to your family account.
What If...
... My first choice is full?
We encourage you to list a 2nd choice class that you would be willing to attend. If you do not get your first choice you will be enrolled in your second choice and be notified, by the Department, of the change.
... I don't have a second choice for a class or program?
Leave the 2nd choice blank. If your first choice is full, your registration will be returned to you.
... I don't hear anything from the Parks & Recreation Department?
If you don't hear from us, you are enrolled in your first choice.
... I send the incorrect or no payment?
Your registration will not be processed and you will be notified via telephone.
... I want a receipt or confirmation of registration?
Send a self addressed, stamped envelope and it will be sent.
... I can't remember my Individual Barcode or Family PIN Numbers?
You can call or office at 683-4530 and our staff will look it up for you. Or, if you entered an email address when setting up the account, you can click the "I forgot my Individual Barcode and Family PIN Number" link on eConnect's "My Account" login page. You will be prompted for you email address and your numbers will be sent to you.
Waiver of Liability Agreement
The waiver of liability pertains to all programs/classes registered through the Parks & Recreation Department. Registration forms will not be accepted if the waiver is not signed.
The waiver found on the registration form states:
"I herby understand that those individuals registered for the program(s) stated on this form, and myself as a parent or guardian, acknowledge that each program, like all physical activities, present some inherent risk of injury. I further recognize that the City of Manitowoc and other organizations which allow use of facilities, do not provide hospital/medical insurance for the duration of the program. Therefore, I herby release these organizations and their employees of any financial responsibility due to injuries received during the program participation."
