The City of Manitowoc has implemented MyGov, a permitting and inspections software program that also offers a Collaborator Portal for Contractors to apply and pay online for permitted projects, access building permit information, schedule inspections, and see the status of their projects.
All State Licensed Contractors performing work in the City of Manitowoc shall Create a Collaborator Account and complete a Local Contractor Registration in MyGov before submitting a permit application. There is no charge for this registration. Please be advised that the processing of permit applications will be delayed if this registration is not completed.
Contractors may apply for building permits online using the City of Manitowoc MyGovOnline Portal with a MyGov Collaborator Account. New construction, additions, and major alteration projects will still require paper copy plan submittal.
