Property Maintenance

Enforcement

Inspectors do prioritize their response to compliance issues with immediate threats to life-safety and public health receiving attention first. The department also works with the Police and Fire Departments for assistance with other neighborhood issues. Property maintenance concerns will be reviewed and enforced by an inspector as they pertain to the City of Manitowoc Municipal Code. If a violation does indeed exist, the property owner will be contacted to repair or correct such violation.
