Office (900 Quay St.):

Monday through Thursday – 7:30am to 5:00pm & Friday 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Cemetery Grounds: 

Dawn to dusk


Cemetery Grounds Operations:

Monday through Friday – 7:00am to 3:00pm

Saturday - Burials can be scheduled between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm. Additional fees apply for Saturdays and for burials between 2:00 pm. and 4:30 p.m.   

Call ahead for holiday hours.


Please note: Lots can be sold on a walk-in basis on the cemetery grounds on weekdays, but appointments are preferred so as not to disturb funeral services. Grave openings/closings require 8 working hours notice. Funeral processions may be admitted as late as 4:30 P.M., but there is an additional fee for those arriving at 2:00 p.m. or later.

Directions to Evergreen Cemetery


Directions to Evergreen Cemetery from I-43:

On I-43, take the Waldo Boulevard exit (Hwy 10 & 42 East - Exit #152) and head east into the City. At the intersection of Waldo Boulevard & Rapids Road / County Trunk R (first signal light), turn right onto Rapids Road / County Truck R. At the intersection with Michigan Avenue (first signal light), turn left.  Continue on Michigan Avenue until you reach the first signal light at the intersection of North 18th Street and turn right.  On North 18th Street in the center median is a Soldiers & Sailors Monument with an eternal flame. Just past this monument is the main entrance to the Cemetery (3rd entrance), which is directly south of the granite entrance sign.


Directions to Evergreen Cemetery from HWY 10:

Highway 10 turns into Highway 310 as you head east. At the intersection of Highway 310 & County Trunk Highway R, turn right (south) onto County Trunk Highway R. As you head into the City of Manitowoc, Highway R turns into Rapids Road. At the intersection with Michigan Avenue (third signal light), turn left.  Continue on Michigan Avenue until you reach the first signal light at the intersection of North 18th Street and turn right.  On North 18th Street in the center median is a Soldiers & Sailors Monument with an eternal flame.
