Students Read & Ride FREE!

The bus is your ticket to an adventure-filled summer at the library! Maritime Metro Transit offers free rides to the library for students, age 17 and under, every Wednesday from June through August. Just show your public library card as a bus pass when you get on board. You’ll get a quick and easy trip to the library. When you’re ready to head home, just get back on board…you can even read on the way! 

Student Day at the Aquatic Center

The bus is your summer fun ticket to wet and wild fun at the Manitowoc Aquatic Center. Maritime Metro Transit offers free rides to the Aquatic Center all summer long to students, age 17 and under, every Wednesday from June through August. Just show your valid season pass as a bus pass when you get on board. You’re only minutes away from splashing in the sun and making waves at the water park! When you’re ready to head home, just get back on board. Having fun has never been easier!

Lakeshore Events

Riders may also take the bus to many area festivals and events in Manitowoc and Two Rivers. Although Maritime Metro does not offer free service to these events, passengers can still enjoy the ride to and from their favorite events and festivals.
