Misako Rocks! is a Japanese illustrator, comic strip artist, & youth graphic novel author. Misako left Japan at a young age & came to America in order to fulfill her dream of becoming an artist. Come learn about her journey when you join us for “Misako Rocks! A Manga Drawing Workshop.” This hands-on, super interactive, high-energy manga event for aspiring artists between the ages of 11 & 18—co-sponsored by Manitowoc Public Library & Manitowoc International Relations Association (MIRA)—will inspire participants to explore their creativity & push themselves outside of their comfort zone while guiding them to create their own original manga characters!
