Sometimes the smallest goodwill gesture can become the “Best Gift Ever!” While it may seem like a trifle to the giver, to the recipient, it opens up a whole new world of possibilities. The gift of reading is one such gift! Please join the Manitowoc Public Library and the Steven Strassburg Agency, Inc.—an American Family Insurance agency—to help us build a lifetime of reading enjoyment for children whose families might not be able to purchase of a new book this holiday season. Between now and December 12th, donations of new, unwrapped books may be dropped off at the Manitowoc Public Library or the Strassburg Agency. These books in turn will be distributed to children in need via the Salvation Army and other area shelters. The “Best Gift ever!” is the gift that keeps on giving! Should the spirit of the season strike, your donation of a new book will most assuredly be appreciated.
