An Evening with Kevin Crawford—The Curious History of Modern Manitowoc
Monday, November 11, 2019
Kevin Crawford is Manitowoc’s longest consecutive serving mayor, having held that office for a total of twenty years. From 1989 until 2009, Mayor Crawford oversaw tremendous changes to the landscape of the city and gathered innumerable interesting stories. The time has come to publically share a few of these tales in a casual, virtual fireside chat sort of setting. On consecutive Mondays in November, Mayor Crawford will regale those gathered in the Balkansky Community Room of Manitowoc Public Library with a choice selection of these stories. The exact schedule is as follows:
• Part 1: Harbor Town/Downtown November 4 6-7:30 PM
• Part 2: City on the Water November 11 6-7:30 PM
A question-and-answer period will immediately follow both of his presentations. Learn about the history of our town from one of the key individuals that helped to shape it! Admission is FREE!!
