It’s Fall Clean Up time at the City of Manitowoc’s Evergreen Cemetery. The Cemetery Division asks your help in clearing all summer decorations in order to help maintain Evergreen Cemetery’s park-like beauty. Lot owners are respectfully asked to remove their summer decorations by October 15, 2017. Any items not removed by October 15th will be disposed of by cemetery staff, and any perennials found on gravesites will be cut down to ground level. With over 28,000 graves to maintain, the support of families who observe the cemetery rules is greatly appreciated.
Winter decorations should not be placed until November 15, 2017. Decorations should be kept close to the marker, so as to minimize damage from snowblowing for a grave opening in the nearby area.

Cleanup notices are sent approximately two weeks prior to the deadline for removing items.
