The Manitowoc Police Department is proud to announce the posting of the 2011 Citizens Academy Application. The Citizens Academy is a sought after program offered to citizens. The Manitowoc Police Department Citizens Academy is a ten week program covering various aspects of law enforcement. Academy classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 9:30 PM, March 1st through April 26th, 2011, with Graduation being held on May 3rd. Interested citizens must be committed to attending ALL sessions. You must be at least 18 years old or a senior in high school and can not have any felony convictions.
