Utility Box Art Project

Public Art Utility Box

The City of Manitowoc, in conjunction with the Rahr-West Art Museum's Public Arts Committee, is seeking applications from artists for the public art utility box project. Amateur and professional artists are encouraged to apply, as well as teams and educational institutions. Ten different designs, inspired by artwork held within the museum's permanent collection, will be selected. 

The deadline for the first round of submissions is July 23, 2021.

This project is supported in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Art Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
