The City of Manitowoc Building Inspection department is excited to announce a new Commercial Plan Review partnership with E-Plan Exam! All Commercial Building, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Suppression, and Fire Alarm System plans that were previously submitted to the State of Wisconsin for review now have the option to be submitted through E-Plan Exam.
This new partnership is an exciting and progressive opportunity to expedite project starts by providing a streamlined submission process that reduces commercial plan review wait times. Plan reviews will be completed within 15 business days provided all required paperwork and fees are submitted.

For smaller scale commercial projects you may be able to work directly with the City of Manitowoc Building Inspection department for plan review and permitting. Building Inspection staff would like to remind all applicants that one hard copy of the approved plan set and letter shall continue to be submitted to the City of Manitowoc Building Inspection department when applying for a permit.
