Due to road re-constructions projects, Maritime Metro Transit buses will be using the following detour routes:
Route 3 – Franklin Street
Due to re-construction on Franklin Street, the Maritime Metro Transit route 3 bus will be detoured beginning Monday, May 20th. As the bus is heading west on Franklin Street, it will turn north onto South 21st Street, then west onto Clark Street, and then south onto South 26th Street. A temporary bus stop will be placed on the west side of South 26th Street just north of the railroad tracks by Franklin Street. Construction is expected to be completed by August 25th.
Route 6B – North Rapids Road
Due to re-construction on North Rapids Road, the Maritime Metro Transit route 6B bus will be detoured beginning Monday, June 3rd. As the bus is heading north on North Rapids Road, it will turn east onto Waldo Boulevard, then north onto Fleetwood Drive, and then west onto Wildwood Drive before turning north onto Kellner Street. A temporary bus stop will be placed on the north side of Wildwood Drive just east of Kellner Street. Construction is expected to be completed by August 16th.
