Beginning Monday, July 1st, Maritime Metro Transit bus service will be extended in the evening. All routes will operate on their usual 30 or 60 minute schedule until approximately 7:00 p.m. or 7:12 p.m. (depending on when the route is scheduled to arrive at the transfer point). Routes 1 and 5 will end at 7:12 p.m. Route 6A will end at 7:00, and route 6B will end at 7:30 along with route 2. Routes 3 and 4 will go to hourly service at 7:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. (i.e. no 30 minute bus route at 7:00 p.m. for these two routes). Service hours had been previously reduced in September 2023 due to staffing shortages.
