There will be a downtown pickup tonight for the immediate downtown area beginning at midnight tonight continuing into Sunday morning.
Due to forecasted colder temperatures, this may be the only pickup for awhile. Please have the snow out before MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. Reminder to all, only sidewalk and right-of-way snow may be pushed into parking lane. Parking lot snow is not to be pushed into the street. Citations could be issued if parking lot snow continues to be placed in the street.
PLEASE REMEMBER:
- Snow must be pushed off of the top of the curb into the parking lane of the street BEFORE midnight tonight. Crews do not pick up or remove snow on top of the curb or on the sidewalk.
- Please do not push the snow in front of your business along the parking lane into large piles. If you would like to move snow from the curb line before crews begin the cleanup, it should be placed in several small piles, not one large one. Please make sure there is visibility at all corners. Please do not push your snow in front of another business.
- Snow may NOT be moved from your private parking lot into the street. It is against City ordinance and may be subject to a citation.
