The City of Manitowoc will hold an Open House and presentation on the proposed zoning code rewrite on Wednesday, September 24 at City Hall in Council Chambers at 900 Quay Street. The open house will be held from 5-6 p.m., followed by a presentation by the project consultant, GRAEF, at 6 p.m. during the regularly scheduled Plan Commission meeting.
The zoning code rewrite aims to modernize and simplify the code, ensure it respond better to market conditions, and supports high-quality development. The code was developed following a year of staff and consultant collaboration and reflects community input received in Fall 2024.
