The Rahr-West Art Museum is featuring the Water's Edge Artists for the forth consecutive year. Join us for a reception on Sunday, October 16 from 1pm to 4pm. The exhibition features forty artworks (painting and sculpture) created by notable artists from around the region. the Water’s Edge Artists (WEA) at the Rahr-West is part of a continuing collaboration with the Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership (LNRP), a non-profit organization which cultivates environmental stewardship projects in the lakeshore region. Since 2006, the plein air artists have created paintings from monthly outdoor paint-outs and additional events and shared proceeds from artwork sales with LNRP. Water's Edge Artists will also be offering an Oil Painting Demonstration by Ms. Bonnita Budysz, Saturday and Sunday, October 22-23, 1-4 p.m. She will transform a blank 30x40” blank canvas into a complete painting of a local waterway and explain her process to the participants.
