The City of Manitowoc will not be having a fall brush and garden waste pickup. This will allow crews to spend more time on leaves and other fall work needing to be completed before winter. Residents may take brush and garden waste to the Manitowoc County compost sites or contact a private hauler. For information about the Manitowoc County compost sites call 683-4333.
Hours for the compost sites are:
4191 Woodland Drive - Open mid-April through November
Monday – Friday 10 am – 6 pm
Saturday 8 am – 6 pm
3000 Basswood Road - Behind the Recycling Center
April – November November – April
Monday – Friday 7 am – 6 pm 7 am – 4 pm
Saturday 8 am – 6 pm 8 am – 12 pm
Leaves will be picked up beginning in early October. Watch for new information on leaf pickup coming soon.
