General Information
This 2.68 acre park affords an excellent scenic view of the Manitowoc River.

History
Land for the park was donated to the City of Manitowoc by Arthur and Mary Allen, as trustees of the last will and testament of Richard Allen, in June 1909 (0.4 acres) and by John Schuette in September of 1909 (0.3 acres) for the sole purposes of a park.  Mr. Schuette was said to be "an ardent lover of nature and keenly appreciative of the natural advantages the city enjoys."  Another 0.66 acres south of the proposed St. Clair Street extension was sold to the City of Manitowoc by Herman and Ella Meyer in June of 1911, and 0.2 acres northwest of the proposed St. Clair Street extension was sold to the City of Manitowoc for $1 and other valuable consideration by Henry and Mary Tadych, John Tadych, and Nellie Rathsack in July of 1926.
