  4. Book and a Movie/“A Christmas Story”

    December 16, 2019, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Lakeshore Cinema

Pretty much everyone knows that if you get a Red Ryder Carbine Action 200-shot Range Model air rifle for Christmas that you’ll shoot your eye out. However, one huge question remains—which version of “A Christmas Story” does a better job of stringing all of the hilarious details of the tale together: the book or the movie? Unless you’re especially “fra-gee-lay,” you’ll have the opportunity to discuss this oft-debated point if you attend Manitowoc Public Library’s “Book and a Movie” at Lakeshore Cinema on Monday, December 16, at 7 PM. Watch the movie and then participate in the discussion of the book versus the movie that follows. Books can be checked out prior to the screening at Manitowoc Public Library. Admission is FREE!!!
